The seventeenth sailing regatta in the name of Hero of Ukraine Vitaly Antonovich Satskiy, on prizes of the “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has collected 73 crews from different cities of Ukraine. This is a record number for the last years!
Two days of regatta – July 9th and 10th have been really hot-tempered and intensive. Crews of the “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works yachts and sail – tourist catamaran worthily struggled for a victory among the strongest yachtsmen of the country. As a result, metallurgists under the sails have won one “silver” and three “bronze”.
Rewarding solemn ceremony has passed in yacht-club “Social initiatives of Zaporozhye” which locates in Dneprovsky district.
Winners and prizewinners of competitions are awarded by diplomas, cups, medals and valuable prizes.
I am sure that these two days have not passed without leaving a trace. Great number of emotions, great number of efforts, probably, regrets – those who have not reached the first place. Nevertheless, anyhow all of you have won. Because you have presented yourselves many emotions, have presented yourselves memories, have seen each other, – has noted Ruslan Bozhko, Chief Financial Officer of the “Zaporizhstal”. – I thank all participants because I understand how firm character should be with people, who contrary to all – to material situation, economic situation in Ukraine, keep their teams, continue training, come on competitions and achieve successes. I wish all good luck and I wish to see all of you next year.
