In 2016 PJSC «Zaporozhstal» continued the social support program of the best students of Zaporozhye National University, Zaporozhye National Technical University, Zaporozhye State Engineering Academy and Metallurgical College of ZGIA. During the whole academic year, 30 best students will receive personalized scholarship of the Steel Works on a monthly basis. Total bonus fund amounts 230 thousand UAH.
In 2015 “Zaporozhstal” Steel Works established personalized scholarships to the best students of various professions, under conditions of study with high grade point average (higher 4,7) and active participation in scientific work and social life of educational institution. Amount of scholarship is 500 UAH for the college students, and 700 UAH for the students of higher education institutions. Personalized scholarships are approved per the results of each session, on the basis of minutes of the meeting of scholarship committee of the big Academic Council. PJSC “Zaporozhstal” representative is included into this Committee. Personalized scholarship holders have priority right during future employment to the Steel Works.

We are on the continuous look out for such people, and program of cooperation with Zaporozhye Higher education institutions gives us the possibility to engage the best ones to the Steel Works”, said Rostyslav Shurma, Chief Executive Officer of PJSC ”Zaporozhstal”.
Annually, around 1500 students of higher education institutions, students of colleges, and vocational schools, undergo the introduction practical training, job training, pre-degree train-ing at the Steel Works. In 2015 “Zaporozhstal” Steel Works gave employment to 208 young specialists – graduate of education institutions of Ukraine.
