PJSC «Zaporizhstal», within the realization of the program for co-operation with the education institutions of Zaporozhye city, will recruit about 200 graduators from the high and vocational education institutions. As of the present day, 66 graduators have already been recruited at the Works.
For the last four years, over 1200 graduator of the education institutions have been employed at the Works. The Works provide them with working places in the main production shops and in the Works’ Management Office. At PJSC «Zaporizhstal» they developed a special program of training and adaptation for the young specialists in the production conditions, and a system of assigning the experienced instructors to the young specialists. Besides, for such category of the employees, at PJSC «Zaporizhstal», there is a complex of educational and developing programs, encouraging for raising the professional and personal competences as well as for career progress.
Training of the students in the disciplines required for the Works, is performed by Zaporozhye National Engineering University, Zaporozhye State Engineering Academy (ZSEA), Zaporozhye Metallurgical College ZSEA, Zaporozhye Professional Metallurgical Lyceum, Zaporozhye Professional Lyceum of Railway Transport, and others. Among the most demanded there are such specialties as ferrous metals metallurgy, pressure metal treatment, metallurgical equipment, electromechanical systems of automation and electric drive.
Let us remind that within the program of co-operation with the education institutions, PJSC «Zaporizhstal» had established 30 special scholarship allowances: 20 for students of the HEIs (higher education institutions) – (UAH 700) and 10 for pupils of the Metallurgical College ZSEA (UAH 500). Upon finishing studying, they will use the priority right to be employed at the Works.
Let us note that annually about 1500 students of the HEIs, colleges and pupils of the trade schools do an internship at the Works: introductory practical training, job training and pre-graduation practical training. Only for 2015, 1009 student of HEIs and 355 pupils of vocational schools have passed practical training at the Works.
