15 mini-flower beds in the courtyard, two metal arches that will be covered with bright flowers in spring, new mini greenhouses, a coil with a hose for watering plants – all of this is now in the possession of young florists from school No. 49. This gift was given to the children by participating in the project “Schoolyard of the 21st Century” in the contest of “Zaporizhstal” social initiatives “We are the city”.
– I always tell my parents that only together we can do something. The main goal of this project is not so much to bring beauty, but to create conditions for the joint work of teachers, parents and pupils. It also contributes to spiritual unity, the development of common interests”, – said the director of school No.49, Lyubov Metelenko,.
Igor Zherdev, Head of the Administration Management of PJSC “Zaporizhstal”, came to congratulate schoolchildren on the implementation of the project.
– First of all, I want to say thanks to the management of the school and to children for their enthusiasm and desire that was shown in the process of implementation of this remarkable project,- Igor Zherdev emphasized. – It benefits both children and the school itself, because the territory of the schoolyard is being modified. I am glad that this project is not completed, but will continue further.
Now the guys have to wait until spring to turn their school into a blooming garden.
