In Zaporozhye gymnasium No. 2, a long-awaited event took place – a modern multimedia language classroom with software was opened.
This became possible due to the competition of social initiatives of the Zaporizhstal Works “We are the city”. The project of the educational institution “Strategy of success: learning foreign languages” – became one of the winners of the program and received a grant of UAH80 thousand. Using computers with Internet access and new software, students can improve their knowledge of foreign languages by communicating directly with the native-speakers.
– Today we have a very important event – we are opening a long-awaited language lab. Not every school can boast of such equipment. We are sincerely grateful to the Zaporizhstal Works for their help,- said Valentina Kravchenko, the gymnasium director.
All schoolchildren were happy with the opening of the new cabinet, but especially such equipment was needed for high school students who would go to universities of foreign languages for practical classes.
The contest of social initiatives of the Zaporizhstal Works “We are the city” is going on, which means that the new projects and pleasant surprises are waiting for other schoolchildren of the city.
