Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, together with “Ukraine” TV channel, launched “Ask the Doctor” project. These are online meetings with leading experts from the Ministry of Health who will talk about the symptoms of coronavirus, drugs that are prescribed to patients with confirmed COVID-19, about the dietary habits of patients, the latest global trends in the treatment of coronavirus, and much more.
– The number of coronavirus cases is growing in Ukraine. The number of fakes and myths around the disease is growing even faster. They often cause panic in people and can negatively affect the health of Ukrainians. To cover the need for objective information, Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, together with the Ministry of Health, launched “Ask the Doctor” project. This is a series of live broadcasts with the country’s leading medical experts, during which anyone can ask the invited doctors difficult questions about COVID-19 and get clear and reliable answers to them,” said Yulia Yershova, Communications Director of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
The expert of the first broadcast was the president of the Association of Anesthesiologists of Ukraine Sergey Dubrov. The doctor gave advice to patients with coronavirus and their relatives, and answered more than 40 questions received during the live broadcast. In particular, he talked about whether antibiotics help in treatment and whether it is possible to become infected with COVID-19 again, gave a forecast as to how long the pandemic will last. The record of the conversation with Sergey Dubrov is already available on the YouTube channel of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation
