The sixth season of the corporate program “Metinvest Young Leaders” has started. 109 young employees of Zaporizhzhia enterprises of Metinvest – “Zaporizhstal”, “Zaporozhogneupor”, “Zaporizhkoks” and Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant became its participants.
On December 10-11, 29 teams under the supervision of leading specialists of enterprises proceeded to the active phase of the project. Young leaders took part in a team-building event, which main task was the creation of the “Employee of the Future”. The next stage is work on projects to improve production processes, increase equipment reliability and energy efficiency, reduce man-made load.
“Youth has always been the main engine of positive change and progress, it is impossible to imagine the development of business and society in whole without this driving force. And today, during the period of crisis for the industry, the creative approach, energy and determination of youth in strengthening the position of enterprises is especially important for us,” said Aleksander Mironenko, General Director of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works.
Let us recall that the goal of “Metinvest Young Leaders” program is to identify high-potential leaders of change among employees. During the project, the youth of the enterprises will offer new ideas and innovative technical solutions to increase the efficiency of the plants. The results of “Metinvest Young Leaders” program will be announced in March 2020. The best projects will be implemented, and the winners will be awarded and recommended to the personnel reserve of the Company.
