In 2018, Metinvest enterprises such as “Zaporizhstal”, “Zaporozhkoks”, “Zaporozhogneupor” and “Zaporozhye Casting and Mechanical Plant” transferred to the consolidated budget of Ukraine more than 5.2 billion UAH taxes and fees, having increased contributions by 30% compared to 2017 year (4 billion UAH). The enterprises sent around 861 million UAH to the local budgets, which also exceeds the figures of last year (more than 741 million UAH in 2017).
“In general, Zaporizhstal and Metinvest’s enterprises account for about 30% of regional GDP, so we are really city-forming and even region-forming enterprises”, said Rostislav Shurma, General Director of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal”.
In 2018, PJSC “Zaporizhstal” transferred to the consolidated budget of the country more than 3.8 billion UAH taxes and fees (including local budgets about 700 million UAH).
