“Zaporizhstal” financed the rehabilitation and health rest of a group of swimmers from the Zaporizhzhia regional center “Invasport”. Young athletes aged 10 to 14 years will have a rest at “Golden Coast” resort (Nesebar city, Bulgaria) from August 30 to September 9, 2018.
Specifically for the trainees of the center, a comprehensive program of rehabilitation was developed: with training in swimming pools, in open water and in sports halls, balanced high-calorie meals. To arrange the recreation of young swimmers, the Steel Works has sent UAH 135 000.
“In the rehabilitation camp organized by “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works, we are actively preparing for the start of a new sports season. After a rest, our children will take part in the Ukrainian swimming championship for athletes with a disability and in the all-Ukrainian sports and athletic meeting “Believe in yourself.” Traditionally, our trainees reach high results, and in many respects – thanks to the constant support of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works,” – said Irina Paveleva, Head of the training and sports department of Zaporizhzhia regional center “Invasport”, the swimming coach.
“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works provides system support to Zaporizhzhia regional center “Invasport”. Since 2015, the company has annually financed the rehabilitation of young athletes.
