Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhogneupor, Zaporizhzhia Coke and Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant continue to operate and remain among the largest taxpayers in the region. In 2022, Metinvest’s enterprises in Zaporizhzhia paid about UAH 3.4 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels.
“Last year, Metinvest’s Zaporizhzhia steelmakers had to do a lot of things for the first time: shut down and restart the enterprise again, reorient logistics and sales chains. However, our position on supporting our hometown and Ukraine remained unchanged. Filling the budgets, helping Ukrainian defenders, medical workers, internally displaced persons and residents of frontline cities is our daily work and contribution to strengthening the country,” Roman Slobodianiuk, Acting General Director of Zaporizhstal of Metinvest Group, said.
The largest contributions from Metinvest’s enterprises in Zaporizhzhia to the state treasury are single tax and unified social tax payments, income taxes and customs duties.
In 2022, Metinvest’s enterprises in Zaporizhzhia – Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhogneupor, Zaporizhzhia Coke and Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant – paid almost UAH 820 million to local budgets.
