Zaporizhstal works operation in the field of production quality is marked with “Recognized perfection – 5 stars” certificate of European Fund for Quality Management (EFQM). Also Zaporizhstal” took opportunity to join Global Excellence Index of European Fund for Quality Management (EFQM) at golden level. This is a high evaluation by EFQM company’s experts.
On 6-7 November 2018 experts visited Zaporizhstal to conduct final stage of the works level evaluation by EFQM excellence model. Experts attended in leading shops of the company, held evaluation of different directions, services and units.
Auditors paid special attention to the works key activity directions which include overall enterprise strategy and its forming, interaction with key clients and suppliers, technology and quality improvement, engineering, efficient power resources management, production planning, personnel motivation, etc. EFQM experts highly appreciated excellence level of Zaporizhstal works quality and management system by European scale.
I participate second time in Zaporizhstal evaluation EFQM Excellence model. I can note impressing changes. The works achieved significant progress and first in Ukraine reached such heights in organization excellence evaluation global system. It means that Zaporizhstal reached management level of leading European and world companies – EFQM model European expert Taras Kalita said.
The symbolic sign was that the expert bestowed “Acknowledged Excellence” certificate and apprised the news of Zaporizhstal possible inclusion into EFQM Excellence Global Index at the golden level on the eve of works’ 85th anniversary.
Note that in 2014 Zaporizhstal for its first time has been awarded with EFQM “Acknowledged Excellence” Certificate.
Excellence Global Index is a rating for acknowledgement of leading organizations in their regarding economy sector allowing to rank organizations in the world, which have been acknowledged by EFQM and its national partners for the last 3 years. In Excellence Global Index it’s possible to achieve one of 4 levels: Platinum, Golden, Silver of Bronze.
