Pupil of school №65 Konstantin Marich created the board game “RECYCLING”, which should teach how to sort properly household waste. The game was released thanks to a grant won in the contest of social initiatives “We are the city” performed by PJSC “Zaporizhstal”.
As Konstantin explains, 4 chips of different colors – 4 types of waste: glass, plastic, metal, paper. The goal is to reach the recycling plant. You roll a dice; there are some obstacles, positive and negative factors.
“Ecology issues have always been important for “Zaporizhstal” works,” noted Inna Kholina, a member of the expert council of the contest “We are the city”, head of the environmental protection department of “Zaporizhstal” works. – The issues of environmental education are also top-of-mind. There was an offer made in an accessible game form to explain how it is necessary to collect garbage separately. The sooner we start talking about this to children, the greater the effect! Therefore, the expert committee of the contest “We are the city” supported this project.
