On 13, 2016 in Metallurgist Cultural Center PJSC «Zaporizhstal» held a seminar-training on social engineering for citizens of Zaporozhye city in the framework of social initiatives “We are the city”. More than 150 representatives of public organizations as well as active citizens took part in the seminar-training.
Within the seminar framework was held the training on “Culture and the basics of social engineering”, made by Ruslan Bahtyev – a recognized expert in the field of social engineering, head of social technologies studio GARNET, organizer of educational charity project “Selected Children”.
For the seminar participants were organized panel discussions on directions of the competition “We are the city”: landscaping and improvement of recreation areas; sport, education and culture; volunteer and patriotic education. Participants of the seminar-training were consulted by members of expert council of the contest “We are the city”. During conversations the topical questions of Zaporozhye social life were discussed. In addition, as part of the seminar-training were discussed practical nuances of preparation, writing and defending of projects in order to receive a grant from PJSC “Zaporizhstal”. The participants shared experiences of creating and implementing successful social projects, including projects in the framework of contest “We are the city”. Some initiative citizens of Zaporozhye offered their ideas and projects for the development of social sphere. I
t should be noted that annually the Works increases financing for the contest. In 2016 the budget of contest “We are the city” was increased up to 2 million hryvnas. The winners will receive grants for the development and implementation of their ideas in the amount of up to 100 thousand UAH. In 2016 a differential characteristic of the contest will be the online voting for the “Peoples Project”. In May, everyone will be able to choose the best project, in his opinion, among semifinalists in the contest web site. The project that won in peoples voting, will receive extra points that will be added to its final evaluation. Through online voting, all active citizens of the city actually become a part of expert council.
Receiving project applications, consultations and paperwork will last until April 30, 2016 included. The main target of Zaporozhye social initiatives contest “We are the city” is to attract more active citizens of the city and the region for implementation of social projects aimed at improving the quality of life in Zaporozhye. To participate in the contest can non-profit organizations, municipal institutions and initiative citizens.
