On the 18th of October, 2014, in Zaporozhye, about 10:00, approximately 100-150 of the rebellious strangers of athletic appearance in masks and with symbols of «Right Sector» (“Pravyi Sector”) had taken an attempt to penetrate through the main entrance control posts of «Zaporizhstal» SW with the aim of operation blocking of the enterprise. However, no any demand was put forward. The attempt to penetrate was terminated by the Works’ security staff members.
Then, a group of criminal elements in the neck face masks and with the symbols of the «Right Sector» organized a picketing near the house of the General Director of «Zaporizhstal» SW, where they spread out the symbols of the «Right Sector», fired up the automobile tyre-casings and put pressure on the General Director personally, his family members and on some managers of the Works.
Currently, the Northern and Southern entrance control posts of «Zaporizhstal» SW is blocking about 10 passanger-carryng minibuses where there are unknown persons of athletic appearance and in the neck face masks.
At that, in the morning on October 18, reports of mass media say that near the building of Zaporozhye regional administration, numerous group of unknown persons gathered, who in arranged manner sat in the passenger minibuses and went to the direction of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works.
It should be reminded, that this is the second attempt of blocking operation of the Steel Works. The first attempt took place on October 15. In connection with these events, General Director of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works said that this is the attempt to swing the situation in the region, and the work of several thousand strong stuff is put at risk. Upon the fact of enterprise blocking, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works lodged an application to law enforcement agencies, it was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial investigations. A criminal case is open, the investigation is ongoing.
