On the threshold of the Day of workers of metallurgical and mining industry, the solemn rewarding and honouring of the best employees of the “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works will take place in culture centre “Metallurg” on July 17. 317 employees of the enterprise by a professional holiday are marked by awards and bonus of Metinvest Group, the Steel Works and by regional awards. The total amount of monetary awards to the best employees has made 500 thousand UAH.
On the “Metallurgist’ Day”, Vitaly Brovko, Blast furnace foreman of the Blast Furnace shop and Evgeniy Uhan, pickler of the Cold Rolling Shop – 1, are awarded for special successes in the work by “The Gold star of Metinvest». 5 employees of the Steel Works are marked by gratitude of the General Director of Metinvest Group. In addition, 5 best labour collectives of the Steel Works will be presented by the certificates on 20 thousand UAH, each, for improving of production living conditions of the employees in the structural departments.
The “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works will decorate its 17 employees by decoration signs «For Valorous Labour» of the II and the III degree and 14 employees with certificates of honour, 250 employees are awarded by a commendation with payment of cash bonus in amount from 400 up to 1500 UAH. 29 employees of the Steel Works for long-term work, high professionalism and successes in work will be awarded by merit certificates of the Zaporozhye regional state administration and Zaporozhye re-gional Council.
The “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works pays special attention to veterans of the Steel Works – on occa-sion of the “Metallurgist Day” according to Regulation of the Steel Works in force, all veterans re-ceived material aid for a total amount of 243 thousand UAH. 233 employees of the Steel Works on occasion of the holiday are awarded by the honorary title of “Veteran of work”, with handing over of the certificate and the monetary bonus.
In addition, the “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has prepared for inhabitants of Zaporozhye as a gift on the “Metallurgist’ Day” a considerable number of festive events: free film shows, excursions by river cruiser boat, circus performance for children of the enterprise workers, graffito contest for the youth, outdoor festivities in the city and many other things.
