In 2017, the collective bargaining of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” was recognized as the best in Zaporozhye region among the enterprises with more than 10 thousand employees.
The award was held on June 19, 2018 in the Zaporozhye Regional Council. Following the results of 2017, “Zaporizhstal” fulfilled all 122 measures fixed in the main social document of the enterprise. The total cost of the plant for the implementation of guaranteed social obligations with more than 400 million UAH.
Stable and confident work of the enterprise became the basis for the complex implementation of all the base lines of the contract: labor protection, environmental modernization, production, improving working conditions and working household activities, social policy of the enterprise.
The social package of “Zaporizhstal” remains the most wide-ranging among all enterprises of the industry. The steel works provides full free medical care and medical insurance to employees and veterans of the enterprise, finances preferential rehabilitation of workers, their families and veterans of the enterprise in health resorts of Ukraine.
In 2017, the average salary at the enterprise grew by an average of 25% and holds the leading positions in the industry.
The youth policy of the enterprise became a priority direction. In 2017, 800 young workers has become the employees of the enterprise. Especially for the comfortable adaptation of young specialists at the enterprise, some activities aimed at professional growth and development of scientific and technical potential, providing maximum social support for young “Zaporizhstal” workers were implemented.
