The complex of art benches “Book” has been solemnly opened near building of the Zaporozhye regional library named after Gorky on April 23rd. The project has been realised with support of the “Zaporizhstal” within the limits of the third season of contest «We are the city». The Steel Works has allocated the grant for it in amount of 70 thousand hryvnyas.

Complex of the art benches, which externally look like a bookshelf, was opened during the festive events devoted to the World Day of Book and copyright law. The developer and the executor of the project is Alexander Rudyk, the designer of designer’s furniture.
The complex of art benches will not only decorate territory near the Regional library, but also will become a permanent place of holding the cultural and creative events.

The Steel Works holds contest «We are the city», since 2013. In 2016 contest financing is increased up to 2 million hryvnyas (in 2015 – 1,7 million hryvnyas). Winners of the contest «We are the city» can have a grant on development and realisation of their ideas in amount up to 100 thousand hryvnyas.
