Within the limits of the action «Present the book to the child» the Steel Works has handed over more than five hundred books to children of the boarding school “Oberig”.
Books have been collected at the initiative of the youth organisation of the Steel Works. Employees of the “Zaporizhstal”, have handed over to children the alphabets, the encyclopaedia, works of classics and other publications, which have supplemented the boarding school library. Also the youth of the Steel Works has pleased pupils of the “Oberig” with memorable gifts and has held for them various competitions.
– Books should be useful and give pleasure to those who requires it, – pointed out Sergey Ilchenko the Leader of the youth organisation, – it is very important, that we help children to grow and develop, and that we create all conditions for this purpose.
