On these days, campaign for voluntary vaccination of employees of the enterprise is running at “Zaporizhstal” PJSC. In 2016, the Works sent about UAH500 thousand for those purposes.
Every year, a campaign for prevention against influenza is running at the Works. The most effective method of fighting the virus remains free vaccination, which takes place at the Works annually. The Works takes full responsibility for the acquisition of the agent from the world leaders – manufacturers of the “Vaksigripp” vaccine, as well as the service of vaccination of employees by qualified medical personnel of the “VitaCentre”clinic.
The effectiveness of vaccination as a method of preventing influenza is confirmed by statistics. So, in 2015, out of 14 reported cases of influenza among the Works’ employees, only 2 have been vaccinated. This indicator makes up 0.07% of the total number of Zaporizhstal workers who have been vaccinated.
– Influenza is dangerous with complications, as well as it spreads very quickly, especially in large groups of people. We strive to protect our employees from the epidemics and we provide this opportunity through a free vaccination. Annually about three thousand Zaporizhstal employees undergo voluntary vaccination, – said the Director of Personnel of “Zaporizhstal” PJSC Andrey Luchenko.
