Football battles are to be held in Zaporozhye. The regional public organization “Ajax” Sports Club” won the online voting of the social projects contest “We are the city” of Zaporizhstal Works. Now, the regional center has one more modern football field. Due to the allocated grant of UAH 63 thousand, a new fence was installed on the sports arena. 150 young pupils of the club got all the conditions for full-fledged training. Zaporozhye is waiting for its football stars.
– For Zaporizhstal Works, the support of sports has always been a priority, – said the deputy of the regional council Vladimir Baida. – This year, when “Metallurg” children and youth sports school was on the verge of extinction, the Works together with the city council found an opportunity to support the school and the development of children’s football. Now they have installed a fence on this field. I am confident that the Works, deputies of the city and regional councils will do everything possible to ensure that football continues to develop. I want to wish the children to play sports, to realize talents, and we will render all-round support.
Besides, “Ajax” club became one of the winners of the project “Public budget of Zaporozhye”, within the framework of which the initiatives, socially important for the citizens, will be implemented for the money of the city budget. Thanks to this, the club will receive additionally UAH300 thousand for the development of children’s football in Zaporozhye.
