The charitable foundation “A smile of a Child”, with the support of the Works, organized a family holiday “Circle of Friends”. The event took place on September 24 in the “Oak Grove” central park.
The “We are the City” contest of social initiatives has been supporting the family festival for the third year. This year, the main theme of the festival was a healthy lifestyle for children and adults.
– For the third year, Zaporizhstal has been supported the festival with the bright name “Circle of Friends”, which has become a city-wide holiday, said a representative of PJSC Zaporizhstal, a member of the expert council of the “We are a City” competition, a city council member from the Opposition blocK Igor Chumachenko. — It’s nice that the Zaporozhye citizens grew to like this holiday. I think that it is very important to unite for the sake of our children. Only together can we achieve a certain goal. Important values such as “person, family, child” have become the project’s slogan, and indeed, they are a public, even a national trend. Now many politicians are looking for a national idea, and the staff of the charity foundation “Smile of a Child” has long since created and implemented it. After all, happy children means happy parents.
More than a thousand children and their parents from Zaporizhzhia Area and other cities of Ukraine visited the family holiday.
There were many sports-related activities at the festival: a frisbee championship, team skis, a suspended maze, archery, and boxing tournaments. The main sporting event was a master class from the Metallurg football team. In addition, parents and children could do needlework, go through a children’s safety quest, or take a family photo in a special photo zone.
