“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works purchased up-to-date high-tech equipment for ensuring gas safety of the Works’ employees. The enterprise allocated 1.7 million UAH for this purpose.
“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works purchased 43 gas rescue air devices, 46 replaceable cylinders, 30 panoramic masks, powerful compressor for pumping air, two repair kits for it, and a device for checking the equipment – “Tester-2100”.
Previously the Works purchased an artificial lung ventilation apparatus “Gornospasatel-10” and a breathing reanimation apparatus “Gornospasatel-11r” for ensuring gas safety of its employees.
– The person, his life and health, untouchability and safety are the highest social value, – pointed out Rostyslav Shurma, the General Director of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works. – The Works invests significant means and applies the most advanced scientific research results in sphere of labour safety and industrial safety of the employees.
The new equipment will allow to raise level of industrial safety and to avoid emergency situations in the main production shops and at gas facilities installations of the Works. In addition, this year the Works plans to purchase a special vehicle for Gas Rescue department. The enterprise will allocate around 250 thousand UAH for this purpose.
