Steel Works sent 1 thousand 600 kg of foodstuff humanitarian cargo (different cereals- wheat grits, buckwheat, rice, millet, arnautka, macaroni and sugar) to citizens of Slavyansk in the morning of August 4.
– Aid to the cities of Donbass is provided by the agro-enterprises of Zaporozhskaya region, “Zapoprozhstal” Steel Works also responded. This is our fourth trip, the first two were to Slavyansk, the third to Svyatogorsk, says Ivan Dubovik, head of the diving service of rescue team, Government service of Ukraine on Emergency Situations.
The Steel Works jointly with Rynat Akhmetov Fund, Development of Ukraine, on regular basis, give support to citizens of Donbass and their families, who were under necessity to leave their houses, as a result of escalation of conflict in the east of Ukraine. As of today, nearly 200 temporary displaced persons from Donetskaya and Luganskaya regions are accommodated at “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works’ recreation center, which is located at Khortitsa island. All necessary living conditions are arranged for them there.
The work on providing the charity support to the citizens of liberated from terrorists cities of the east of the country, is arranged in Zaporozhskaya region under the auspices of the regional state administration and main headquarters of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the region.
