In Primorsk, the development camp “Success League: Maritime Season” opened – one of the volunteer projects that won the contest “We are city” this year.
The camp on the shores of the Sea of Azov opened its doors to 30 teenagers, among them children from low-income families, families with many children, orphans and children without parental care. For five days, thanks to qualified experts, adolescents will learn to work in a team, stop being afraid of public speaking, learn how to start their own projects and how to start volunteering.
Nikolay Kolodyazhnyi, Head of “Impulse.UA” Charity Fund, Project Manager:
“In Primorsk, we hold a children’s camp that is designed to help children learn the basic knowledge and skills needed for social and volunteer activities. These are project management skills, teamwork, public speaking, and information space work. We very much hope that during our Camp “Success League. Sea Season” children formulate ideas for their own social and volunteer projects. At this stage, they are just developing these ideas, writing concepts. Then, after returning to Zaporozhye, from September, I hope the next stage will be just our joint work. We will already implement their projects in a practical plane”
Iraisat Magomedalieva, coordinator of the competition “We are city”:
A feature of the contest “We are city” of the 2019 season is that every tenth project is volunteer. This suggests that more and more residents of the city have an active life position. I want to believe that it was our contest, which played an important role in it. “
