Since 2012, Zaporizhstal sent about UAH 15 billion to eco-modernization. Along with environmental transformation, the Works equips reconstructed and new facilities with emission monitoring sensors. These sensors are designed for internal control of environmental protection equipment by environmental services specialists of the Works.

Following the principles of openness and publicity, Zaporizhstal provides open access to the data of the online monitoring system of the company’s emissions. On-line mode displays the operation of cleaning systems to capture dust, that is the most significant industrial pollution in metallurgy. The frequency of data updates is 1 day.
