A concert was held in the Metallurgists Palace of Culture dedicated to the main spring holiday – the International Women’s Day. This day, both songs and dances were dedicated to women who work at “Zaporizhstal” steel works. This is only at first glance, metallurgy is not a women’s industry, but in fact, a third part of the labor collective of the steel works are lovely women. In accordance with the order of Rostislav Shurma, CEO of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal”, each employee received a bonus of 200 UAH on March 8.
The First Deputy CEO of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal” Alexander Tretyakov congratulated on the stage of his beauty colleagues.
“You know, when I was studying, I really thought that metallurgy is not a woman’s job,” – said Alexander Tretyakov. – And when I came to the enterprise, then already 46% of the work collective were women. In fact, there is no difference – a man or a woman, most importantly, that employees are responsible for their work. In many ways, women are more diligent in their work, tolerant, good-natured, then men, which is very important. Women are those who make us who we are! I wish you smiles, goodness, health, happiness and all the best.
Today, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works employs 2,325 women, who are employed in all fields of the enterprise. 16 best workers of the enterprise received Certificates of Honor and gifts.
