PJSC “Zaporizhstal” organized celebrations for women workers and women-veterans of the enterprise for the International Women’s Day on March 8. Traditionally, employees and veterans of enterprise-participants of military operations are awarded in the total amount of 700 thousand UAH. By the holiday, the steel works also paid material assistance to large family and single mothers and mothers with special needs children.
On March 7, a Metallurgist Palace of Culture will hold a festive concert for women and veterans of steel works, at which 16 best workers will be honored with the Honorary Diplomas of the CEO of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” with the presentation of a memorable gift.
Women constitute more than 30% of the total number of employees of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal”. The main activities of the fair half of the steel works are technical quality control of the products, laboratory research, management of metallurgical cranes, legal and financial sector.
Three women workers of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal” were awarded state decorations – Orders of Princess Olga II, III degrees, 48 women were awarded by Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, Zaporozhye City Council and City Executive Committee.
