PJSC “Zaporozhstal”, within the limits of realisation of the complex program of ecological upgrading of blast-furnace production, has put into operation after capital repair, fan water-cooling tower of water recycling for gas purification systems of the Blast furnace. The total amount of investments into new equipment composed 30 million UAH.
New fan water-cooling tower of company «Yerushalmi Water Cooling Towers Ltd» (Israel) manufacture, consist of closed systems of water supply, with using of treated effluent sewage. This solution allows to reduce fresh water intake from basin of river Dnieper, to lower an effluent disposal, and to return into production more raw materials earlier lost with wastewaters.
Productivity of new fan water-cooling tower of water recycling for gas purification systems of the Blast furnaces is 4 thousand m³ of water per hour and it insure optimum heat condition during water cooling. It allows to increase calorific ability of blast-furnace gas, and as consequence, to reduce consumption in production process of natural and coke oven gases.
Let’s point out that capital repairs and reconstruction of water recycling at PJSC “Zaporozhstal” is realised systematically, within limits of the program on reduction of discharges into basin of river Dnieper.
