The condominium association “Svitanok” won a grant in the contest of social initiatives “We are the city”. With the money received, the residents implemented a project to upgrade the house.
Due to the deformation of the building, cold leaks began to occur in the apartment building, which residents discovered using thermal imaging device. In addition to abovementioned, due to the absence of drainage pipeline the water penetrated into the basement of the building. These problems were solved thanks to the money won.
Also in this house, there is women’s consultation room and maternity hospital No. 4. The place where the future mothers are going has also been put in order – the porch and the road section have been repaired.
– We decided to participate in the contest “We are the city”, prepared all the documents, took a photo and defended our project. Incredibly happy to win, because now the house is beautiful and we have become an example for other condominium associations. In general, this contest is very necessary for the city. When we defended our project, I saw how many people participate in the contest and how many original projects they offer. I did not even expect that we have so many initiative inhabitants in the city. Of course, thanks a lot to the “Zaporizhstal” works, that it has such a contest that helps bring ideas to life,” said Natalia Dyachuk, chairperson of the condominium association “Svitanok’.
