As a gift from metallurgists, 26 educational institutions in the city of Zaporozhye received sets of multimedia equipment. To purchase equipment, the plant allocated more than UAH300 thousand.
On May 25, 2018 at the celebratory assemblies dedicated to the holiday of the last bell, the Works’ representatives handed sponsored schools projectors and portable screens that will increase the effectiveness of the learning process and diversify the leisure time of schoolchildren.
It should be noted, that the Works systematically supports Zaporozhye educational institutions, helping them in repairing, purchasing new furniture, computers and office equipment, sports equipment, etc. The general education institutions actively participate and receive grants for the implementation of educational projects within the framework of the social initiatives competition “We are the city”. Annually more than 1000 pupils of Zaporozhye schools visit the Works with study tours. As part of the environmental volunteer campaign “Save the Dnieper Together!”, the Works organizes environmental quests for schoolchildren on Khortytsya island.
