«Give a Book to a Child »: Zaporizhstal Employees Visiting Pupils of the Children’s Rehabilitation Center

Books and fruit as a gift, interactive games with prizes – such a holiday for pupils of the regional center of social and psychological rehabilitation of children was arranged by volunteers of the youth organization of “Zaporizhstal” PJSC.

– It is very important for the children of this rehabilitation center to feel that they are surrounded by attention and care from adults, – believes the leader of the youth organization of “Zaporizhstal” PJSC Sergei Ilchenko. – The Works has been friends with this center for more than 19 years, and the youth organization – for the 4th year. It is important that our friendship is not only from the holiday to the holiday. Recently, International Children’s Day was celebrated here. And today is an ordinary day, and volunteers of the youth organization of the Works came to the center to spend time with children, to fill their lives with bright colors and positive moments.

Books were given to children in the framework of the project “Give a book to a child”, which has already been successfully in process at PJSC “Zaporizhstal” for the 5th consecutive year. Literature, which the employees of the Works buy and bring from the house, is transferred to children’s houses, this year to the center of social and psychological rehabilitation

– We have 68 children from 3 to 18 years old with difficult fates – orphans, deprived of parental care”, says Olga Kucher, director of the Zaporozhye Regional Center for Socio-Psychological Rehabilitation of Children. – And every child wants attention and affection and gets them not only from our team, but also from the youth organization of the Zaporizhstal Integrated Works. Children are very fond of the young Zaporizhtal workers. The children waited impatiently for the holiday, which was presented by the youth organization of the Works!

“Zaporizhstal” PJSC regularly helps the center of social and psychological rehabilitation with medicines, clothes, stationery, toys, and in economic matters.
