The enterprises Zaporizhstal, Zaporizhogneupor, Zaporizhkoks and the Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant organized a large-scale celebration for citizens on the Metallurgist and Miner Day.
On July 19, a bright show program and many activities waited for Zaporizhzhia citizens at the cascade of fountains Raduha. The guests of the festival participated in a karaoke contest, a dance master-class from the finalist of the project “Dance all!” by Vitaly Zagoruyko. Little Zaporizhzhia citizens with pleasure participated in creative master-classes and competitions, an animation program. A free game town with attractions worked for children, and volunteers of a youth organization of enterprises treated children to ice cream.
On the main stage of the holiday, the best employees of enterprises, workshops and labor dynasties of Zaporizhzhia enterprises of the Metinvest Group were honored.
On the occasion of the Day of the metallurgist and the miner, the workers of Zaporizhstal Works were noted with state awards of Ukraine. The Order of Merit of the III degree was awarded to Sergey Cheremisov, the operator of the control post of the sheets hot rolling mill. The Order of Princess Olga of the 3rd degree was awarded to Oksana Kostohryz, foreman of the slabbing mill workshop.
The bright end of the holiday was the performance of the musical groups “Ottawan” and “Fly project”.
