As a part of social initiatives competition “We are the city”, organized by PJSC “Zaporizhstal”, the citizens in the process of online voting had determined the winning project which has received the title of “National”. This was the project of Zaporozhye regional public organization “Sports club “Ajax” – “Assistance to the young players”- on installation of fences for mini-football field in order to ensure safe training for preschool and primary school age children in Hortitsky district.
Online voting took place from 18 till 31 May on the competition portal “We are a city» https://www.wearecity.zp.ua, where every citizen could choose the best project, in his opinion, among 71 semifinalists. All in all 7,500 citizens took part in voting on the competition portal.
“The project “Assistance to the young players” has won the largest number of votes (481 votes) during online voting. It was this project that will receive additional points to the total final assessment, that was given by expert council on the basis of semifinalists open presentations”, – said Expert Council Chairman of “We are the city” competition, Director on Capital Construction & Investments of PJSC «Zaporizhstal» Alexei Lebedev.
We remind that from 1 May 2016 started the second stage of the competition. During May, the expert council has determined semifinalists. The next stage was the holding of public presentations of projects-finalists. Winners will be announced in June.
It should be noted that every year the Works increases financing for the project. In 2016, the budget of “We are the city” competition was increased up to 2 million UAH. The winners will receive grants for the development and implementation of their ideas in the amount of up to 100 thousand UAH.
