Families of workers at Metinvest enterprises in Zaporizhzhia, with children starting school for the first time, received gift sets of school supplies from the company. Over 440 kids will begin their first school year with stationery from Metinvest as part of the corporate project “First Time in First Grade.”
The stationery sets provided to first-graders from families of workers at Zaporizhstal, Zaporizhvuhnetryv, Zaporizhkoks, ZLMZ, and Metinvest-Promservice include all essential school supplies: diaries, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, brushes, paints, and more.
Zaporizhstal also gave special gifts to children who had their birthdays right before Knowledge Day.
Metinvest arranged an interactive virtual event called “Back To School: RELOADED” for kids aged 6 to 10 in honor of Knowledge Day. Children will participate in an entertaining and educational program and have a chance to win prizes.
Metinvest provided stationery sets to 1,850 children of its employees in different cities to celebrate Knowledge Day in 2024. In 2012, the Metinvest Group introduced the “First Time in First Grade” initiative, which has become a yearly event.
