“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works, within 2013 navigation season, shipped around 500 thousand tons of rolled stock to the consumers from Zaporozhye river port, for comparison, in 2012 around 50 thousand tons of Steel Works’ metal products was shipped off from the river port.
Since October 2012, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works resumed the strategic cooperation with Zaporozhye river port, according to the implementation of the Metinvest Group program on raising of sales efficiency and improvement of work with the end users. Metal products delivery scheme by river transport allowed to decrease the products delivery time to the consumers by 15 days on the average.
