In Yuliyevks educational complex (Yuliyevks village, Zaporozhye region), a sports hall was opened, reconstruction of which was made within the contest held by «Zaporizhstal» PJSC and named «We are the City». The Works allocated UAH 27 thousand for that purpose.
The project of the sports hall reconstruction in Yuliyevka educational complex became the winner of the «We are the City» contest in 2015. The initiators of the construction purchased constructional materials on that grant funds. During 6 months, parents of the pupils, teachers, and non-indifferent inhabitants of Yuliyevka reconstructed the sports hall, which remained closed for four years due to alert condition.
At the ceremonial opening of the sports hall, the pupils got the sports equipment from «Zaporizhstal» PJSC as a gift.
«Zaporizhstal» PJSC holds «We are the City» contest yearly since 2013. In 2015, within the contest of the social responsibility projects named «We are the City», 163 projects had been presented out of which 27 winners were determined as the winners by the independent expert council. The general budget of the contest made up UAH 1.7 million.
