«ZAPORIZHSTAL» PJSC CONFIRMED FULFILMENT OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (CBA) IN THE 1Q OF 2015

For the first half-year period of 2015, «Zaporizhstal» PJSC fulfilled all 138 arrangements, foreseen by the CBA for 2015. The total costs amount under the CBA for the 1st half-year period of 2015 made up UAH 164 million.

On the 19th of August, 2015, a conference for the labour collective of Zaporizhstal PJSC took place, at which the results of CBA fulfilment for 6 months of current year were summarized. During the session, they sounded some facts certifying fulfilment of all the guarantees on health improvement of the employees, on maintaining the veterans, on development of culture and sports, on all types of financial help pay-off to the employees and veterans of the Works, on targeted aid rendering for the socially most disadvantaged groups of society, associated with the enterprise in the first half-year of 2015.

So, during that period, the Works organized recreation for 2000 of the workers and their children in the best recreation centres of Ukraine. For such purposes, the Works allocated UAH 5.4 million. Besides, all the Works’ employees got a financial aid for health improvement when going on vacations.

The Works took care of the veterans as well – in the first half-year of 2015, the Works paid-off financial assistance to the Works’ veterans-combatants, World War II disabled veterans and familiy members of those parished, for a total amount of UAH 1.9 million.

From the 1st of April, 2015, the Works had raised salary for all employees of the Works in average for 23%. Upon the results of July, 2015, the average salary at Zaporizhstal PJSC made up UAH 9,510; this is one of the best value among all the enterprises of mining and metals production sector. The general growth of salary at the Works for 2014, made up 27.8% (the average salary for 2013 – was UAH 5,887.51, for 2014 – UAH 7,521.87).

Besides, with the aim to provide a qualitative medical treatment, the employees of Zaporizhstal PJSC got medical treatment in VitaCentre multi-field hospital, medication was paid in accordance with medical care insurance agreements. For these purposes, in the first half-year of 2015, Zaporizhstal PJSC allocated UAH 8 million.

Fulfilment of the system programme on improvement of the working conditions at the Works, which had commenced in 2012, was carried out In 2015. Upon the results of the first half-year, the Works had invested into fulfilment of that programme about UAH 2 million.

It is noteworthy, that the collective agreement of Zaporizhstal PJSC was recognised as the best in the branch of industry in the last few years.
