The first stage of the coal preparation area of the PCI complex has been handed over for cold tests. These tests are carried out personally by the experts from the equipment manufacturing firm “Kuettner”. The President of this world famous company Goetz Alexander Kuettner has personally visited Zaporizhstal to ascertain the quality of the performance of the required jobs.
During cold tests the workout of the technological cycle is carried out in an automatic mode without the use of raw materials. The hot tests, which will begin in the second half of July, assume direct use of the prepared fuel to be injected into the second and third blast furnaces.
