Being an exemplary tax payer following the results of 2013, Zaporizhstal Steel Works, transferred over UAH 1.08 billion to the budget of all levels, UAH 258.5 million of which are the taxes and charges paid to the local budget.
Zaporizhstal Steel Works is one of the major taxpayers in Zaporozhye region providing accurate payments and filling up the state budget. The key factor of tax deductions growth is the Metinvest Group’s financial strategy, focused on building translucent and clear partnership relations, full and timely execution of tax liabilities and, eventually, on economy development in the presence regions and in Ukraine.
It bears reminding that since January to December, 2013, Zaporizhstal Steel Works has increased output of iron by 0.8%, steel — by 0.9%, rolled stock — by 2.4% in comparison with the similar period of 2012.
