Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal” allocated funds for organizing summer training, as well as rehabilitation activities for children from “Invasport” Zaporizhzhya Regional Centre for Sport among Handicapped.
In summer “Invasport” used to organize training, physical and social rehabilitation for its pupils in Crimea, at the camp of National Paralympic Centre in Yevpatoria. However, now it is not possible due to annexation of the Crimean Peninsula. Therefore, a decision was made at “Invasport” to find a camp with similar conditions in mainland Ukraine. They requested financial assistance from JSC “Zaporizhstal”. The works answered the centre’s request by providing organization with a certificate for UAH 39 thousand.
“Society needs you, and you need society, which is why it is of critical importance to organize summer training, physical and social rehabilitation for your pupils in appropriate conditions”, says the Chief Engineer of JSC “Zaporizhstal” Volodymyr Buryak. “We are helping “Invasport”, because we want for dreams of the children and their parents to come true. Involvement in sport and rehabilitation activities is an important step towards helping kids with disabilities to feel fully participating members of society. May good success attend you in sport and in life! ”
In his turn head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Centre “Invasport” Andriy Baranov points out, that this organization has been in systematic cooperation with JSC “Zaporizhstal”.

It is very important to us”, says Andriy Baranov. “Apart from that, I would also like to express gratitude to JSC “Zaporizhstal” for their contribution, owing to which our pupils can engage in sports activities at the indoor track of the works, which is rightfully considered one of the best in Ukraine. The enterprise also congratulated Paralympic Games participants and rewarded with tablet PCs the best athletes of “Invasport” according to the results of 2013.”
