In 2014 summer season ”Zaporozhstal” Steel Works, within the framework of systems program of social responsibility, arranged summer holidays and health improvements of 1 thousand of employees’ children, having allocated more than 3 million UAH for this purpose. Health improvement of children had been arranged during summer time in two children’s camps – in CRC (Children recreation center) “Sputnik” (Velykiy Lug, Zaporozhye) and in CRC “Albatros” (Genychesk, Arabatskaya strelka).
Games, sports competitions, concerts, 5 meals daily, had been arranged for children in the course of each of three batches’ arrivals to CRC “Sputnik”. Within framework of corporate program “Childhood Territory”, the days with “Metinvest” with participation of young people of “Zaporozhstal” Steel Works, PJSC “Zaporozhkoks”, PJSC”Zaporozhogneupor” had been arranged, directed for team spirit of children’s community, for ecological education, and also for healthy lifestyle promotion, physical training and sports. Table of events included flashmobs, games, and also gifts giving with corporative insignia of companies (T shirts, caps, bandana, watches).
Besides, children got possibility to take rest together with parents in more than 20 centers, in Zaporozhskaya region territory, as well as in the best health resorts of Ukraine per subsidized sanatoria and holiday-homes vouchers. Activities program of Recreation and retreat center “Metallurg” (village Novokonstantynovka), recreation camps “Chayka” (township Kirylovka) and “Mriya” (city Prymorsk) provided daily cultural, sports, intertainment programs for adults and children. In particular, Zaporozhsal employees and their family members took rest in Recreation and retreat center “Metallurg”. Treatment in Medical facilities of center produce a desired effect in disease prevention, because of functioning of up to date physiotherapeutic rooms, massage rooms, thermotherapy, hydrotherapeutics, remedial inhalation, room for medical procedures.
It should be noted, that Steel Works spent 1,3 million UAH on repair of recreation camps facilities, located in Zaporozhskaya region, namely, for replacement of heating system and water supply in Health and recreation center (isle Khortitsa), for repair of roofing and utility networks of buildings, setting up of children’s playground, rearrangement and opening of sidewalk café at recreation center «Metallurg”, repair of facilities at recreation camp “Chayka”.
Steel Works invested 1,5 million UAH for repair of water supply networks and buildings, purchasing of kitchen equipment and accessories for CRC “Sputnik”
