Within the framework of construction project of the regional center of emergency medical treatment, for the implementation of which II&SW “Zaporozhstal” allocated 12 million UAH, the Works financed the purchasing and installation of new safety system for emergency “ambulance cars” of Zaporozhye region (“alarm buttons”) for the amount of 780 thousand UAH (purchasing and maintenance).
“Alarm buttons” in stationary and mobile variants of calling of State Safeguard had already been installed at 40 emergency “ambulance cars”, it is planned to equip all 153 emergency ambulance cars of medical aid, which are on daily duty in Zaporozhye region. The system is focused on safety of medical personnel: operating range of alarm pager is around 200 meters from the car, in case of danger, the medical personnel could call the State Safeguard detachment not only from the “ambulance car”.
“One of the principal direction of our social activity — is the support for the programmes, connected with the public health service. As far as human life is concerned, business should be the source of effective and reliable help” — pointed out General director of Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporozhstal” Rostislav Shurma.
The Governor of Zaporozhye region Alexandr Peklushenko, during the visit to constriction site of emergency medical treatment center, said: ” Genuine breakthrough in utmost important issue for our region — is the establishing of emergency medical treatment center- we could do it thanks to Rynat Akhmetov’s help, who responded to the problem and gave instructions to allocate 12 million UAH for the financing of establishing of the Center. I am convinced, that in Zaporozhye, there would be the best and modern emergency medical treatment center”.
