From the beginning of 2013 Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal” employed 265 graduates, who passed “School-university-plant” teaching system, as a part of corporation programme with educational institutions implemented by Metinvest Group.
Representatives of Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal” hold working meeting with presidents of universities, headmasters of schools and lyceums, concerning carrier guidance issues, they also hold meetings with school graduates and their parents. They were told about the system, according which college and lyceum students practice at work positions at the Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal”, with salary payments, students also get skilled category, and the best of them – are invited for a job to the plat, to guaranteed and stable place with competitive salaries.
“Our programme stipulates hiring for a job only the best of students, taking into account their working ability, leadership and organizational skills. Such cooperation is mutually beneficial: the plant saves time for adaptation of young specialists, and graduates – get an opportunity of a quick career advancement,”- stated the CEO of Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal” Rostislav Shurma.
Programme of cooperation with educational institutions in Ukraine was approved at Integrated Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal” on the 28th of November 2012 by the General Director of the plant. Every year more than 1000 graduates from universities, colleges and students from lyceums have introductory, practical and predegree practice.
