The youth organization of metallurgical plant “Zaporizhstal” organized a beach volleyball competition for the company’s employees. The sports event was held as part of the celebration of the Metallurgist and Miner’s Day 2022.
Employees of other enterprises of Metinvest’s Zaporizhia area from Zaporizhvognetriv and Zaporizhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant, and also forced displaced persons from Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions took part in the competition. A total of 30 sportsmen took part in the game.
According to the results of the competition, the “Metinvest” team from “Zaporizhstal”, consisting of Leonid Svitlychny and Oleksandr Shevchenko, won the 1st place. The 2nd place was won by Denys Romanchenko and Oleksandr Krutelov – team “Stal”, from “Zaporizhstal”. And the honorary bronze medal was received by the joint team from “Zaporizhvognetriv” and ZLMZ “Men of Steel” – Yehor Burya and Anton Zaitsev.
