The yard of the educational outreach complex “Vybor” is now unrecognizable. On the place of the overgrown wasteland there is a new sports ground.
The project of the educational institution “Let’s change together the attitude to the surrounding nature!” became the winner of the “We are the city” social initiatives competition of Zaporizhstal Works.
On the ground, there are street simulators, benches, bicycle parking, and opening of the object turned into a bright children’s holiday with contests, flash mobs and relay races.
– I’ll be exercising here all day and become very strong! I really like everything here” – said first-grader Jaroslav Juravel, sharing his first impressions.
Thanks to the participation of the Works, not only children’s dreams came true, but also the plans of the pedagogical team were realized.
– Previously, there were coppice and even people who lived without a specific place of residence, – said Victoria Alexandrova, the director of the educational institution. – We started to clean it up with our own forces, and then we drafted the project and took part in the “Zaporizhstal” social initiatives competition named “We are the city”. Having obtained the grand prize, we managed to improve the territory – broke the flower beds, installed a tennis table, benches, simulators.
