In the Track and Field Athletics arena of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” solemnly opened the 68th Work Olympics, within the framework of which held competitions in 11 sports disciplines.
Teams from different workshops took part in this completion, and this is about 4 thousand workers of “Zaporizhstal”.
– So many people have not ever taken part in Work Olympics. There were many new faces. I am proud of it, and it says that these people are able not only to work well, but also they like sports, – said Leonid Anisimov, chairperson of the Trade Union Committee of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal”. – This was also contributed by the creation of worthy conditions, because the metallurgical complex “Zaporizhstal” invested in the reconstruction of the arena and today, despite of frost and cold condition outside, it is warm and cozy inside the sport hall.
Work Olympics is held in several stages. Athletes, volleyball players and billiard players showed outstanding dexterity and skills. Ping-pong competition will held in a few days.
Sports will always be in the priority of the works. Annually PJSC invests more than 7 million UAH in the development of physical culture and sports.
