The first stage of reconstruction of street Leonova is finished. The initiative to update the street was one of the winners of the competition “We are the city.”
Authors of the project – the activists of the NGO “Zaporozhye Rock” – arranged the park, restored street lighting, replace part of paving and removed from the school number 30 emergency trees. In addition, at the initiative of caring Cossacks fence around this institution has acquired original appearance, as established in the schoolyard stylized mill cabin, well, watch and with figures of storks nest.
– Our project is called “Native Street ” as it was in the school 30 starred the legendary “Spring on Zarechnaya Street” – says one of the authors of the initiative Xenia Bugaychuk.
In the second phase of the project, activists planted new trees and shrubs. On an initiative of the NGO “Zaporozhye Rock” plant “Zaporizhstal” allocated in the competition “We are the city” a grant of 80 thousand.
