“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works rendered assistance in repair of clinical diagnostic laboratory in the regional center on preventive measures and control of AIDS. Steel Works allocated around 60 thousand UAH for this purpose.
High quality repair of premises, absence of dust and draughts, air conditioning: are the key conditions for the commissioning of costly high accuracy equipment, which could make up to 200 analysis per hour for the detecting of HIV infection,- said Marina Klevtsova, head of the laboratory.
New doors and windows were installed in the premises at tight schedule, and complete repair had been done per European standards on the account of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works.
Nowadays, medical personnel is sure, the commission board would allow to put analyzer into operation, and it could be possible timely and efficiently to diagnose the infection of individuals by HIV infection.
– Young people are specially exposed to risk of infection, and the project, first of all, is oriented on them,- said Veronika Rasina, head of youth organization on environment control management of ”Zaporizhstal” Steel Works.
