The works rendered financial assistance in the amount of UAH 100 thousand to Zaporizhia Children’s Hospital No. 1 for the purchasing of medical equipment.
New equipment will allow carrying out more accurate and faster diagnostics of young patients.
It also treats children who, due to various circumstances, have been deprived of parental affection and care. About 80 “otkazniki”(parentless children) undergo treatment here during the year.
“We care for these babies and love them as our own,” said Natalia Grigoryeva, Deputy Chief Medical Officer.
Children’s Hospital No. 1 is the oldest operating medical facility in Zaporizhia city; it turned 75 years old on November 27. The hospital serves about 5,000 children per year, and the hospital needs direly for professional medical equipment updating.
