PJSC “Zaporizhstal” handed over 100 doses of donated blood to Pediatric Hematology department of Zaporizhzhya Regional Children’s Hospital.
Annually “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works holds five donor days. In 2016, 350 “Zaporizhstal” employees became donors and handed over more than 670 liters of blood.
PJSC “Zaporizhstal” regularly assists Zaporizhzhya health care institutions, handing over donated blood. In 2016 as part of charity event “Love has mercy” by Zaporizhzhya diocese of Ukrainian Orthodox Church, PJSC “Zaporizhstal” has already handed over 60 doses of donated blood for young patients of Oncohematology department of Regional Children’s Hospital.
Donated blood is necessary for transfusion of blood and its components to patients for diseases treatment.
